CHARACTERISTICS

RAISA MULCH B/W 1C is a black and white sheet manufactured in multilayer coextrusion with LPEBD (linear) in thin thickness.

By machine or by hand, it is placed on the ground during the preparation of the outdoor crop as well as in greenhouse cultivation.

The white side of the film contains a package of anti-UV additives necessary to prevent degradation of its properties.

The black side is UV stable thanks to the carbon black it contains.

Once the crop cycle is finished, this film can be removed without leaving a trace.

Advantages and Tips

The mulching technique using our RAISA MULCH B/W 1C sheet provides multiple advantages to crops.

The black side inside prevents the growth of weeds and competition between plants. The white side has an excellent reflective effect, thus increasing the light available to plants. This padding is specially designed for winter crops or in areas with little radiation or in areas heavily shaded by the greenhouse structure.

RAISA MULCH B/N 1C reduces evaporation, saving irrigation water and fertilizers that are generally distributed through a properly perforated hose that comes into contact with the soil when the film is placed. Plastic protects the soil and reduces erosion.

RAISA MULCH B/N 1C constitutes a separation between the plant and the soil, limiting the appearance of diseases caused by some pathogens, and preserving the vegetables and fruits from the splashing of the earth with a result of greater cleanliness. Before use, the coils must be stored, in their original packaging, in a horizontal position in a warm, ventilated place protected from light. We participate in the recycling of our plastics.
